Quantico 2026
Priorities for Quantico
Quantico's municipal government is responsible for practical issues that residents and businesses encounter every day.
André's stated priorities focus on town services, infrastructure, communication, economic vitality, responsible spending and cooperation with Marine Corps Base Quantico.
01
Streets & Infrastructure
Maintain what matters.
André supports responsible maintenance and improvement of Quantico's streets, sidewalks, drainage, lighting, water, wastewater systems and public spaces.
Existing infrastructure work by the Town should be acknowledged accurately, and future work should be visible to residents from start to finish.
Proposed Tool
Quantico Infrastructure Tracker
A proposed public online dashboard showing:
- — Major projects
- — Estimated timelines
- — Funding sources
- — Current status
- — Completed work
02
Water Reliability
Clear information when it matters.
Recent water-system disruptions affecting the Quantico area demonstrated the importance of reliable infrastructure and rapid public communication.
In September 2026, a loss of water pressure affecting Marine Corps Base Quantico's Mainside system resulted in a boil-water advisory. The advisory was later lifted after laboratory testing.
André supports clear public procedures for communicating water disruptions, boil advisories, restoration timelines, testing results and infrastructure work.
Proposed Tool
Water & Utilities Status
A proposed page that would link to current official notices from the responsible authorities. The campaign does not independently publish water-safety determinations.
Official advisories and safety determinations come from the responsible utility and public-health authorities.
03
Town + Base Cooperation
Two communities. Shared realities.
The Town of Quantico has an unusually close relationship with Marine Corps Base Quantico.
André supports regular and professional communication concerning town access, Fuller Road, visitors, deliveries, local business access, special events, utilities, emergencies, public safety and transportation.
The goal is to strengthen and maintain communication that already exists between the Town and the installation.
This campaign is not affiliated with, and is not endorsed by, the U.S. Marine Corps, Marine Corps Base Quantico or the Department of Defense.
04
Local Business
Support the businesses already here. Welcome new opportunity.
André's background as an entrepreneur informs his interest in Quantico's local economy.
- Supporting restaurants, shops and services
- Understanding business-owner concerns
- Identifying vacant storefronts
- Making commercial information easier to access
- Encouraging appropriate new businesses
- Addressing practical access and delivery issues
- Promoting community events where appropriate

A proposed directory of Quantico businesses, published with owner participation.
05
Responsible Spending
Treat public money with respect.
André supports transparent budgeting, responsible municipal spending and public access to understandable financial information.
Proposed Tool

A proposed easy-to-read visual dashboard showing:
- — Town revenue
- — Major expense categories

06
Grants & Partnerships
Pursue every appropriate resource.
André supports identifying appropriate county, Commonwealth of Virginia, federal and nonprofit funding opportunities that may support legitimate town priorities.
Grant funding is competitive and is never guaranteed. A future public record would show applications submitted, awards received, project purpose and grant amount.

- Maintenance procedures
09
Public Safety & Quality Of Life
Coordination within each authority's responsibility.
André supports coordination among town leadership, residents, businesses, law enforcement, Marine Corps representatives and neighboring jurisdictions on appropriate public-safety and quality-of-life matters within their respective responsibilities.
10
