Follow the full seasonThis Is Quantico
Quantico is one of America's most unusual municipalities: a small independent town surrounded by Marine Corps Base Quantico, with its own residents, businesses, streets, waterfront and municipal government.
The town's location creates responsibilities and opportunities that few other American communities share.
Residents and businesses depend on effective coordination involving town services, transportation, infrastructure, access, public safety and communication. Town residents and business owners are subject to specific base-access procedures, including DBIDS requirements and Fuller Road access rules.

What Makes Quantico Special

02

10 Priorities for Quantico

Priority 02
Clear information when it matters.
In September 2026, a loss of water pressure affecting Marine Corps Base Quantico's Mainside system resulted in a boil-water advisory. The advisory was later lifted after laboratory testing.
André supports clear public procedures for communicating water disruptions, boil advisories, restoration timelines, testing results and infrastructure work.
Official advisories and safety determinations come from the responsible utility and public-health authorities.

Priority 03
Two communities. Shared realities.
André supports regular and professional communication concerning town access, Fuller Road, visitors, deliveries, local business access, special events, utilities, emergencies, public safety and transportation.
Not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Marine Corps, Marine Corps Base Quantico or the Department of Defense.
Service at the Heart of Quantico
Generations of Marines, veterans, military families and civilian professionals have shaped the life of the Quantico area. Their service deserves gratitude, dignity and respect—and a town government committed to professional cooperation within every authority's proper role.
This is an original campaign tribute. The campaign is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Marine Corps, Marine Corps Base Quantico, the Department of Defense or any federal agency. No official insignia is used.
Community & Lifestyle
The character of Quantico lives in its walkable streets, local tables, storefronts, river views and the everyday civic relationships that make a small town feel whole.
