This Is Quantico

Small Town.
Extraordinary Place.

Quantico is one of America's most unusual municipalities: a small independent town surrounded by Marine Corps Base Quantico, with its own residents, businesses, streets, waterfront and municipal government.

The town's location creates responsibilities and opportunities that few other American communities share.

Residents and businesses depend on effective coordination involving town services, transportation, infrastructure, access, public safety and communication. Town residents and business owners are subject to specific base-access procedures, including DBIDS requirements and Fuller Road access rules.

What Makes Quantico Special

A Place With Its Own Rhythm

Small in scale and extraordinary in setting, Quantico brings riverfront life, independent town government, local commerce and a culture of service into one remarkable place.

01

On the Potomac

A waterfront town shaped by the river, rail and generations of movement.

02

A Town Unlike Any Other

An incorporated community with its own civic identity inside Marine Corps Base Quantico.

03

Living Main Street

Local restaurants, storefronts and neighbors give the town its everyday character.

Quantico Heritage

From River Town to a Town Unlike Any Other in America.

Quantico's story is part Potomac history, part civic perseverance and part national service—a living history still carried by the town today.

Explore Quantico

1654

Deep Regional Roots

The area's documented land history reaches to land patents granted to English settlers in 1654.

Early 1900s

Potomac Destination

The Quantico Company promoted the riverfront for excursions, with picnic areas, beaches, refreshments and a dance pavilion.

1917

A Defining Turn

After the United States entered World War I, the Marine Corps leased land at Quantico for an East Coast training site.

Today

Heritage in Motion

A small town of residents, businesses, public service and a distinct civic future.

Priority 02

Water Reliability

Clear information when it matters.

In September 2026, a loss of water pressure affecting Marine Corps Base Quantico's Mainside system resulted in a boil-water advisory. The advisory was later lifted after laboratory testing.

André supports clear public procedures for communicating water disruptions, boil advisories, restoration timelines, testing results and infrastructure work.

Official advisories and safety determinations come from the responsible utility and public-health authorities.

Priority 03

Town + Base Cooperation

Two communities. Shared realities.

André supports regular and professional communication concerning town access, Fuller Road, visitors, deliveries, local business access, special events, utilities, emergencies, public safety and transportation.

Not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Marine Corps, Marine Corps Base Quantico or the Department of Defense.

Service at the Heart of Quantico

Honoring Marines & Veterans

Generations of Marines, veterans, military families and civilian professionals have shaped the life of the Quantico area. Their service deserves gratitude, dignity and respect—and a town government committed to professional cooperation within every authority's proper role.

This is an original campaign tribute. The campaign is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Marine Corps, Marine Corps Base Quantico, the Department of Defense or any federal agency. No official insignia is used.

Community & Lifestyle

Life in Quantico

The character of Quantico lives in its walkable streets, local tables, storefronts, river views and the everyday civic relationships that make a small town feel whole.

A Personal Account

I first worked closely with André in January 2025, when we collaborated on two major inaugural events in Washington, D.C., and it was one of those experiences where you quickly understand how someone operates under pressure.

André is kind, incredibly resourceful, and has this remarkable ability to connect the right people at exactly the right time. He sees opportunities, makes introductions, creates momentum, and somehow has a way of making things happen almost overnight.

“He has a remarkable ability to make things happen almost overnight.”

One thing that has always stayed with me is how people talk about him. Again and again, when I speak with people who know André personally, I hear the same words: ‘I love André.’ And I understand why. He has warmth, loyalty, energy, and a genuine way of making people feel connected to what he is building.

From working with him, I’ve seen firsthand that André has the ability to take a project to another level. He thinks big, moves quickly, and knows how to bring people, ideas, and resources together around a mission.

That is what I value most about working with him. He doesn’t just talk about possibilities. He creates momentum around them.
